Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualization solutions using Microsoft Power BI. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into effective data visualization solutions.
• Create and optimize complex DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data integrations.
• Connect Power BI with various data sources including SQL Server, Azure, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Monitor report performance and implement optimization techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and user training.
• Document reporting solutions, data models, and business requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience integrating Power BI with Azure services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Microsoft Power BI Certification is a plus.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or Databricks.
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is an advantage.
