About the Role

Flatfile is seeking an AI-Powered Cybersecurity Analyst to help strengthen our security posture through advanced threat detection, incident response, and AI-driven security solutions. The ideal candidate will combine cybersecurity expertise with knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to identify risks, automate security processes, and protect critical systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, and investigate cybersecurity threats across enterprise environments.
• Utilize AI and machine learning tools to improve threat detection and response capabilities.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability analyses, and risk evaluations.
• Develop and implement security automation workflows.
• Analyze security logs, alerts, and incident reports to identify suspicious activities.
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to enhance security controls.
• Support incident response activities and forensic investigations.
• Recommend security improvements based on threat intelligence and industry best practices.
• Monitor emerging cyber threats and evaluate their potential impact on business operations.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or threat analysis.
• Strong understanding of network security, cloud security, and security monitoring tools.
• Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or QRadar.
• Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning concepts applied to cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks and incident response processes.
• Experience with vulnerability management and security assessment tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, CySA+, or GIAC.
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform security.
• Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
• Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
• Understanding of Zero Trust Security Architecture.
• Exposure to AI-powered security platforms and automation tools.
