Conversational AI Designer
Job Overview
We are seeking an innovative Conversational AI Designer to create engaging, intuitive, and human-centered conversational experiences for AI-powered products and services. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in conversation design, user experience (UX), natural language interactions, and artificial intelligence to build seamless interactions between users and intelligent systems.
As a Conversational AI Designer, you will collaborate with product managers, UX researchers, engineers, data scientists, and AI specialists to design user journeys across chatbots, virtual assistants, voice assistants, and generative AI applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end conversational experiences for AI chatbots, virtual assistants, and intelligent digital products.
- Create conversation flows, dialogue structures, user journeys, and interaction models.
- Develop prompts, response frameworks, and conversational patterns for Generative AI systems.
- Design and optimize chatbot interactions based on user feedback, analytics, and usability testing.
- Define conversational tone, personality, and communication guidelines for AI products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align conversational experiences with business goals and user needs.
- Conduct user research and conversation testing to improve AI-human interactions.
- Analyze user behavior and conversation metrics to enhance engagement and task completion rates.
- Ensure conversational experiences are transparent, accessible, ethical, and user-friendly.
- Stay current with emerging trends in Conversational AI, Generative AI, NLP, and UX design.
- Contribute to the development of scalable conversational design systems and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), UX Design, Interaction Design, Psychology, Linguistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Conversational Design, UX Design, Product Design, or AI Experience Design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating conversational experiences, chatbot designs, or AI-powered user interactions.
- Experience designing conversational interfaces, virtual assistants, or AI-driven applications.
- Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design platforms.
- Understanding of conversation design principles, user research methodologies, and usability testing.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Conversational AI technologies.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, AI behavior modeling, and conversational UX best practices.
- Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts and chatbot development workflows.
- Experience with AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
- Experience designing for web, mobile, messaging, and voice-based interfaces.
