Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our onsite team in Canada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures to protect the organization from cyber threats and unauthorized access.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage secure network architectures

• Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network security devices

• Monitor network traffic and respond to security incidents

• Identify vulnerabilities and implement risk mitigation strategies

• Conduct network security assessments and penetration testing

• Ensure secure configuration of routers, switches, and wireless networks

• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices

• Maintain network security documentation and policies

• Support incident response and disaster recovery efforts

• Stay updated with emerging network security threats and technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or related field

• 3+ years of experience in network security or network engineering

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network protocols

• Hands-on experience with firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point)

• Experience with IDS/IPS, SIEM, and network monitoring tools

• Knowledge of cloud networking security (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Certifications:

• CCNA / CCNP Security

• CompTIA Security+

• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)

• CISSP (Preferred)
