Cyber Security Analyst
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cyber Security Analyst to join our onsite team in Canada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting the organization’s systems, networks, and data from cyber threats while ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor networks, servers, and systems for security breaches and suspicious activity

Identify vulnerabilities and implement security controls to mitigate risks

Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing

Investigate security incidents and respond to cyberattacks in a timely manner

Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint security tools
-
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, etc.)

Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation

Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure system design

Provide cybersecurity awareness training to employees

Stay updated with the latest cyber threats, tools, and industry trends
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT, or related field

2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
-
Strong knowledge of network security, operating systems, and cloud security

Experience with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and security monitoring tools

Understanding of ethical hacking, malware analysis, and incident response
-
Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and networking protocols

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Certifications:

CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)

CompTIA Security+

CISSP (Preferred)

CISM or equivalent
